What do we do? As there are many positions available they are primarily looking for Production specialists and technicians.
In a nutshell we work in a clean room environment and handle/produce wafers. Here's a short video pertaining to what we do. There's different departments and each will have its own tools.
From my personal experience coming out of the military to working at the post office for 4 years (Mail Carrier) to transitioning to Wafertech I am mentaly alot happier. I used to work mandatory OT 6 days a week 10-12 hour shift at the P.O. but with the career change I am earning as much and but working less. I really enjoy the long days off and if I want to work O.T its optional. The job isn't hard if you're willing to learn. Room for promotion too.
