Looking for a Solid 2nd Guitarist

We are looking for an experienced guitarist to complement our current lineup of guitar, bass, vocals and drums. This project is an innovative, harder edged original rock band. Backing vocals would be a definite plus! We are working on creating appealing original music in the rock genre...definitely more hard rock than soft rock, but we don't want to limit our style. We expect the guitarist to come prepared to create or modify their own parts for the music we are working on and come up with their own ideas to suit the songs as we develop more songs, and be a true collaborator in the creative process. Ideally, a strong player who can trade leads with our current guitarist would be optimal. Our immediate goals are to: 1. Find a guitarist who fits our criteria, and we fit theirs 2. Finalize composition and arrangement for the current 10-12 songs we are working on in a form from which we can create a demo (we have 10 pretty completed songs in the pipeline now) 3. Use the demo, social media, and local gigs along with any means possible to help develop a local following 4. Use the demo and any following we gain along the way to find bigger gigs, particularly local Festivals, in which we can perform. Bumbershoot is the Golden Ticket, as far as we are concerned. We are personable, and want to have fun while we work toward the common goal of getting the creative sparks flying! No egos here...but we take the music seriously, and we need someone who has already honed their skill on the guitar, and is currently up to speed on chops, practice, etc. As a group we all kick in on the cost of a top notch 24/7 access practice space in Lynnwood/Mukilteo and you should also have the resources to pitch in, if you decide to pursue this project with us. We currently practice twice a week at our space, and then work on the songs away, during the off time. We are also responsible about showing up on time, we all have pro gear, our own reliable transportation and Pro Attitudes, and we would expect you to have these, too. No drunks or tweaks please.
