Peter Burke will join us to discuss all aspects of your garden from planning to planting, constructing raised beds, creating permanent paths, trellising, and methods to avoid a jungle of weeds in August! After his presentation, we’ll get some hands-on experience planting the square foot garden bed in the Kids Discovery Garden! Peter Burke is a Certified Square Foot Garden Teacher and has been using and teaching the Square Foot Gardening method since 1981. A portion of this class will be held indoors in the South End Community Room; due to the lifting of the Burlington indoor mask mandate on 3/3/2022, face coverings will be recommended but not required when attending class in the Community Room.
