DUPAGE COUNTY, IL —As of Wednesday, the DuPage County Health Department (DCHD) reports 9,086 confirmed cases of the new coronavirus and 468 deaths. The numbers include 50 new cases since Tuesday. County health officials said two coronavirus-related deaths were reported since Tuesday. The DCHD did not include information about where those who died had been living or whether they had underlying conditions. They are: A woman in her 40s A woman in her 90s The news comes as cases in Illinois reach 144,013. The statewide death toll from coronavirus was at 6,951 as of Wednesday and the recovery rate was 94 percent, according to the Illinois Department of Public Health. According to the county's breakdown, the majority of cases have affected those between the ages of 40 and 70, but all age ranges had confirmed cases.
