The open house event is our chance to bring the surrounding community to the shelter so we can receive your feedback. AIAS CU Denver FBD has been working with Colorado Village Collaborative over the last year to design elegant improvements to the safe outdoor spaces, to improve the quality of the temporary housing sites, and to support our local community with thoughtful design and construction. During the process FBD was able to identify the need to replace the ice fishing tents that are currently used with structures that are more aesthetically pleasing to established neighborhoods, that are comfortable to the temporary community residents, structurally stronger, offer better fire protection, and are more durable. This project has been navigating the seemingly endless list of constraints, but we are at the point of being able to share our product and ask for your support to bring this solution to realization for our client or other communities.
