Fuller Lodge Art Center 2022 Summer Camp Week 5 July 6-8th PLEASE NOTE: This is a shortened week due to the holiday. No class Mon or Tues. Fuller Lodge Art Center proudly presents 2022 Summer Art Camp! Join us for fun with paints, papers, writing, acting, drawing, singing and more! This year we hope to bring back a full program with classes for all interests. Check out our camp offerings for students from 1st through 12th grade. We have a wide variety of teachers with diverse camp sessions and are adding more every week. Fuller Lodge Art Center Summer Camp offers week long camps. Prices listed are for a single one week session, either AM or PM. AM Sessions: 9-12 Lunch 12-1 PM Sessions 1-4 Each three hour sessions includes a 15 minute snack/activity break held outdoors. Our classes can get MESSY; please wear clothing that is comfortable and can get dirty. Since we spend time outdoors on the Fuller Lodge lawn and some classes have outdoor components, dressing with light layers for cooler weather and wearing sunscreen is recommended. Each session contains a short snack and activity break, please send a small snack with your child. If your child will be attending concurrent AM and PM sessions, we hold a lunch break from noon-1, lunch is not provided, please send a lunch with your child's name visible on the outside. We offer scholarships based on the generous donations of community members. If you are in need of a scholarship for your student, please contact [email protected] Purchasing a ticket through Eventbrite holds your student's space in camp but registration is not complete until all releases and waivers are received. You can fill these out using the google form found here: Registration Forms/Student Info Age and grade levels are firm. Students must be the age listed on the camp description on the first day of camp to participate in age level activities. Students in grade level classes should be in, or entering into, the minimum grade level for the listed session. Class A: Coming Soon! Time: 9:00 AM-Noon Description of Class: Coming Soon! Teacher: Nicholette Smith Grade Level: 1st-3rd Number of Students: 10 Special Instructions: None Class B: Temporary Tattoo Shop Time: 9:00 AM-Noon Learn to draw some classic (age appropriate) tattoo motifs and then draw on each other's arms with skin safe temporary tattoo markers . Teacher: Jacob Spill Grade Level: 1st-3rd Number of Students: 10 Special Instructions: None Class C: Water Color Madness Time: 9:00 AM-Noon Students will work with patterns and colors to make landscapes, abstracts, and outstanding works of art. How will you use your colors this summer? Teacher: Erin Scott Grade Level: 4-6th Number of Students: 10 Special Instructions: None Class D: Basics of Gamemastery: Learn to Run Dungeons and Dragons Time: 9:00 AM-Noon Working together with veteran author and gamemaster David M Daniel, students will learn the complex process of running the wildly popular game Dungeons and Dragons. Learn the basics of encounter design, adventure structure, and bringing NPC's to life, all while planning your own campaign to later run for friends and victims (evil gamemaster laughing intensifies!). Teacher: David Daniel Age Level: 13+ Number of Students: 10 Special Instructions: NOTE: This course is only suited to individuals ALREADY FAMILIAR with Dungeons and Dragons 5th Edition and will NOT teach the basics of playing the game. If unsure if participant skill level in DnD qualifies please contact FLAC for guidance. All relevant game materials are supplied by instructor, but students who have their own supplied may bring them at their own discretion. Teacher: Anahi Grade Level: 4th-6th Number of Students: 10 Special Instructions: None Class 5: Introduction to Dungeons and Dragons Time: 1:00 PM-4:00 PM At the table of veteran author, actor, and gamemaster David M Daniel, students will learn the basics of how to create and play characters for Dungeons and Dragons 5th Edition in a micro-campaign designed specifically for them and aimed at older students. No prior experience with Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition is required, and all supplies including access to rules documents is provided by instructor (though students familiar with the system may bring their own supplies if they so desire). Learn the process of playing this smash hit game from the very first attack roll, to slaying your first Dragon, in a fun welcoming environment suited to beginners and still challenging for veterans as well.
