Join us for a special Trinity Hardwood Open House & Benefit for Madison Koopman! Madison is the daughter of Houston Branch Manager, Mitch Koopman. She is 14 years old, attends Dean Middle School in Houston, TX and is currently on the waitlist for a heart transplant. Madison was born with Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy, a heart condition that prevents her from living a regular, active daily life. Medicated since birth, she had her first heart surgery on Valentine’s Day at age 2 in 2010, and most recently in September 2020. Madison never got to play during recess, participate in P.E. or do any physical activity. Despite her condition, she remains upbeat and full of joy. She loves gaming, listening to music and playing piano; but her heart is set on suiting up for the soccer field and trying cheerleading once she recovers.
