Austin Social Tennis is commemorating a new 2022 social tennis league with a FREE tennis games night! Space is limited to the first 25 RSVPs Austin Social Tennis is expanding up to the North Austin-Round Rock-Cedar Park area! To kick off our new spring social tennis league, we will be hosting this free social tennis event at Old Settlers Park featuring various tennis games. A FREE Wednesday Spring Social Tennis League registration (among other cool prizes) will be awarded at the event! We'll secure 2 courts and supply all the balls, so just bring your racquet and join in on the fun. Space is limited to the first 25 RSVPS. Players will be divided up into two courts based on skill level. There will be a variety of fun team-based tennis games for y'all to participate in and win giveaways! Austin Social Tennis runs the Capital Area Social Tennis League, a social-first, co-ed tennis league designed for young professionals ages 21-39 to meet new people through the game of tennis. This league is geared towards beginner to intermediate level, recreational tennis players (generally NTRP ratings between 2.5 and 4.0), so we invite you and your friends to come and check out our games night if you aren't sure whether you want to commit. We offer 3-4 social leagues each season. Our Spring UT leagues are full and currently running, but we just launched a Wednesday social league that will be starting on March 23, playing out of McNeil High School in North Austin. There are limited spots remaining and registration ends on March 17. We'll secure 2 courts and you can find us on the courts with music playing. Games Kickoff Schedule on Wednesday, March 16: 5:00PM - 5:30PM: Sign in, enter the raffle (optional), informal hit around 5:30PM - 6:50PM: 2 courts of tennis games & drills, divided by skill level 6:50PM - 7:00PM: Swag giveaways + the winner of a A FREE Wednesday Spring League registration will be announced! 7:00PM - 8:00PM: Post-tennis social hour! We'll head over to Cork & Barrel Craft Kitchen + Microbrewery (right next to the park) for post-tennis bites 🍔 + drinks🍺 What to bring: Just a tennis racquet, athletic shoes/clothes, and a water bottle - we'll supply everything else!
