Wisdome@SXSW presents An immersive 360 sound bath concert performance!! The Journey: Live! Is an immersive 360 soundbath concert performance that integrates The Journey film with visual immersive storytelling, ancient musical healing tones and song, binaural beats and frequency sound-waves to bring audiences into states of awe, elation, mindfulness and positive self-awareness. Singer and UCLA certified mindfulness practitioner, Jahna Perricone, and master Tibetan singing bowl artist Michael Perricone will be our guides as we take the journey through enchanting and transformative music and awe-inspiring full-down visuals. BIO: Internationally renowned musicians and sound practitioners, Michael and Jahna, invite the listener into inner peace, creativity and inspirational states by using the transformational tones of ancient Tibetan singing bowls (300-600 yrs. old), ethereal voice, gongs, Koshi Bells, chimes, guitar, song and mindfulness practices. Jahna, a professional singer and UCLA certified mindfulness coach with Michael, an award winning sound engineer/director and ancient Tibetan singing bowl master, together have facilitated these music and healing experiences across the globe, from Paris to Greece to the US. Their 360 immersive soundbath and art fulldome/VR film, ‘The Journey’, was awarded The Audience Choice Award at DomeFestWest 2021 and has since been accepted to SXSW and SAT FEST 2022 festivals. From this success, Michael and Jahna created ‘The Journey: Live!’ - a live, immersive sound, music and art adventure that features 360 visuals creatively crafted with soundbath healing, song and ethereal voice, along with a screening of the film in fulldome and planetarium venues. They’ve performed their unique sound at The Getty, Hammer, Fowler and MOCA museums, film and yoga festivals; their live music meditation sound baths have been enjoyed virtually and globally by thousands; the 20m user InsightTimer app has featured several of their music and meditation recordings, and their compositions, which are also featured in film and television, enjoy a million plays worldwide and growing.
