The NE CPCU Chapter - Good Works Committee invites you to join us for a volunteer opportunity on April 21st! This volunteer opportunity is in place of the monthly chapter meeting and will help support our community by sorting and organizing donations at the People’s City Mission (PCM) Help Center location. The Help Center is dedicated to making much-needed items available at no charge to those who need it most. The PCM has been a vital part of the Lincoln community for over 100 years. They were founded in 1907 by a number of local churches in the city. The PCM helps in meeting the basic needs of the homeless and less fortunate in Lincoln, accomplished by providing shelter, food, clothing, medical and spiritual care, and life skills training. When: April 21st 10:30-12:30PM* *Must be able to commit to the full 2 hours as a tour and instructions will be provided at the start Where: PCM Help Center, 6800 P St. How to get involved? RSVP to confirm your spot to volunteer! Wait there’s more! We will have a boxed lunch from Bison Witches available for all volunteers in our group to grab at the end of our shift!
