Nitrowave TC Presents: A Synthwave Event Nitrowave TC is hitting the road for the first time and we are heading to Fargo, ND to play The Aquarium! We are going to bring some heavy hitters from the Twin Cities and we are teaming up with big names in the Fargo area. On stage will be Fargo’s own Dimension Jumpers. Nitrowave TC acts include Magenta Vice, North Innsbruck, and DJ sets by d.notive. Plus, Superjuice from Radio Free Fargo will be your MC. The Dimension Jumpers Once upon a time in a state far far away, Carlos was introduced to his first instrument, the drums, at the age of 9. He was also introduced to a piano and decided to give it a try and began making music. The music spoke to Carlos and he began playing in different bands throughout High School. Carlos wanted more so he honed in on his talents and began producing music of his own at the age of 15. Music gave Carlos a voice that manifested into ZX. He performed shows during his teenage years. Life happened and the music stopped. In 2014 ZX embarked on a new journey without music, but little did ZX know he needed music and music needed him. In 2020 The Dimension Jumpers was founded a coalition for reality jumpers and adventurers into the planes of existence. Magenta Vice Magenta Vice are a relatively new duo whose members have deep roots in Twin Cities music going back nearly 30 years and spanning several styles. John W and Erik W approach synthwave as a band rather than as producers, focusing on live hardware instrumental performance and the freedom and spontaneity that come with working outside the world of DAW-based production. A mixture of both vintage and current gear bring a wide variety of sounds to the table, and a healthy mix of humanity and machine. Heavily influenced by Italo disco, old school electro and Hi NRG (Patrick Cowley, Giorgio Moroder, Paul Hardcastle, Newcleus) but also balanced and informed by the spacey sounds of 70s German kosmische musik and early New Age (Tan-gerine Dream, Klaus Schulze, Michel Genest et al), Magenta Vice offer a wide range of moods and BPM's with a sound that tries to blend past and present in their own way. North Innsbruck An evocative, auditory and emotional experience. The sound of North Innsbruck (Chris Emblom Minneapolis, MN) is best described as(contemporary retro inspired electronic music (retrowave) containing a blend of dance music and cinematic elemente. North Innsbruck utilizes vintage synthesizers to create unique tones and timbres alongside modern production techniques. North Innsbruck has been a catalyst and active leader of the Twin Cites Synthwave music scene since mid-2019 being the president and co-founder of Nitrowave TC. Other notable achievements include: "A Delicate Balance" being included in MNspin Hennepin County Public Library onlinecollection of selected works of Minnesotan artists. North Innbruck has also won Best of Awards from Melodic Noise and Synthwavefan.NL in 2020 and has been featured on Klez Beats- Synthwave Vol. 8. Currently North Innsbruck is working on his follow up to A Delicate Balance "Mind Bender" due to be released winter 2021.
