Can you legally own a Tiger? What about a raccoon? HOORAY, animals!! 😃 Join us starting at 4pm to enjoy some of the animals from the Hand Me Down Zoo located in Winder, GA! Admission is FREE, Donations for the Zoo are welcome! 💰 From 6pm thru Ms. Kerry’s presentation the animals will still be on display, but we ask that attendees focus on the Speaker so the animals can rest. Ms. Kerry Ervin speaks at 6:30pm in a hands-on, family-friendly interactive presentation, “Exotics and Legal Pet Ownership.” Did you know that it is ILLEGAL for the average citizen to own a raccoon? What happens if Authorities discover your pet raccoon? Which animals ARE illegal for us to own in the state of GA? Are the rules different in other states? What about tigers? FREE Admission Guests with RSVPs via Facebook and those holding EventBrite tickets will be seated first. The Northeast Georgia Science Symposium strives to connect local Science experts with the community in which they live. Awesome people live HERE doing AMAZING things and we need to know about it!! There is NO religion at the Symposium, neither Evolution nor Scriptures nor New Age.
