Politics of Place is a methodology InSite crafted to orient ourselves and others to the multiple narratives of place through walking and storytelling. We work with organizers and residents to develop a place-based approach to equity and justice. In essence, we treat place as another facilitator in our trainings.
In collaboration with Social Spin, we invite you to learn about the important work of community organizations to achieve food justice, combat displacement and fight for land sovereignty, abolition and LGBTQ rights in the City fo Phoenix. We center music, dance and storytelling to understand the multiple narratives of place and justice.
