It's time to once again celebrate being together. Nazila Couture (NC) and Untold Stories Foundation (US) proudly present Runway to Reality! Please join us for an afternoon of entertainment for a much needed cause #afghansincrisis. This year we are raising funds to support Afghans in Crisis. On August 25th, 2021, the world witnessed occurrence that seemed out of a movie. Recall the group of young boys, some belonging to Afghanistan’s national soccer team clinging on the a military cargo plane’s wings? There was more criticism than sympathy. We’ll never know what went through their minds as the plane took off. We’ll never know. But, I can only imagine the fear of a sudden death insignificant in comparison to animality they would face under Taliban ruling. This event will introduce us to the very men/women and children who were among the thousands that managed to escape. You will hear their stories first hand as they desperately reached our city for safety. Untold Stories Foundation 501(c)(3) registered non-profit organization continues to support those unlucky and disadvangtaged left behind in Afghansitan as well as the newly arrived Afghan refugees in Phoenix.
