Spectrum invites you to Pride Prom: Queer History Edition! A free opportunity to have the prom experience you might not have gotten in high school. There will be dancing, free food, and the chance to explore queer history. The event will be held in the Terrace A-D rooms on the main level of the Bovee University Center from 6-9 pm on April 9th. Come as you want: dressed up, dressed down, or even dressed as your favorite queer icon. There is no dress policy. Also, join us in being safe and fashionable for our mask contest! There will be prizes for the top three best masks. Open to everyone on and off campus. To get into the event, you must have a reserved ticket, you must wear a mask at all times except when actively eating or drinking, and you will be asked to show proof of vaccination or proof of a negative test in the last two days. We will also need to see a CMU ID, State ID, or license to verify. If you do not follow the above guidelines or CMU's COVID guidelines, you will be asked to leave. If you would like a physical ticket, please pick will call. If not, just choose eticket and you will show that at the event. This event is a part of CMU's Pride Celebration!
