Tigers' Spring Training Tickets Go On Sale Sunday

LAKELAND, FL — Spring training tickets for the Detroit Tigers go on sale Sunday, according to a Major League Baseball press release. A three-month lockout that began Dec. 1 ended Thursday night when the MLB and Major League Baseball Players Association reached a five-year-labor contract agreement that increased minimum salaries and hopefully will improve conditions for players. The first spring training workout is scheduled for Monday at Joker Marchant Stadium. In addition to spring training games kicking off, 17 players have been invited to Major League training. This makes a total of 55 players in Tigers' spring training.
