Available in 8 Oz containers Springtails are tiny arthropods found in almost every eco-system of the planet. They are a critical part of the clean up crew. These tiny, quick creatures will breed in your bioactive terrarium with ease and will help aerate you substrate, clean up waste, benefit your live plants and provide a tasty snack for some of your smaller critters, such as Poison Dart Frogs. All Bio springtail cultures are packaged in a sealed 8 ounce plastic container with charcoal bits and food and are started 30 days prior to being available to you. So they are ready to go right in the enclosure and get to work. Each container has about 500+ springtails.
