Description
GLEN MILLS, PA — New lawsuits allege even more abuse at a now-closed Delaware County school, according to a report.
Fox 29 reports new lawsuits were filed Wednesday against Glen Mills Schools, alleging rape, sexual assault, beatings and death threats for reporting the abuse.
Back in March 2019, the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services (DHS) ordered an emergency removal of all children still at Glen Mills School after the school was accused of allowing of abuse — such as beatings — and covering up said abuse.
There were 64 children at the school, 21 from Pennsylvania counties and 43 from eight other states. No new admissions are allowed during the closure.
Then in April 2019, DHS revoked all 14 licenses issued to Glen Mills Schools.
Individuals looking to report suspected emotional or physical abuse, mistreatment, intimidation, or coercion should contact Pennsylvania's ChildLine at 800-932-0313.
All reports made to ChildLine are forwarded to appropriate investigating entities.
