Press release from The Nature Conservancy: March 9, 2022 It's time to get outdoors and focus on nature. Arizona students ages 13 – 18 are invited to submit nature photos to the 9th annual "Adventures in Nature" photo contest. Photos should showcase Arizona's natural beauty, wildlife and people. Photos can capture nature in your backyard or around your neighborhood. The top 10 winners will receive up to $10,000 in prize money plus gift certificates and passes to Nature Conservancy preserves in Arizona. The winners will be announced during a virtual awards ceremony on May 5, 2022. Contest winners will have their photos published by the contest sponsors: The Nature Conservancy in Arizona, Arizona Highways magazine and Cox Communications. Last year the contest attracted 3,742 submissions from students around the state. The contest is intended to connect young people to the outdoors through photography.
