Earle Atterbury, a long term patient on 9 North, was due for a haircut. Deb Gilbey, 9N RN Manager, contacted Ellen Harry, Director Human Centered Care, who asked around and was able to connect with a local Bridgeport barber named Terence Lowery. Not only did Terence offer to come to the Medical Center for Earle's haircut - he insisted there would be no charge and that it was his pleasure to do it. Earl said he was so happy to get his hair cut as he likes to keep it very short. He also thanked the staff for arranging the cut and for everyone's kindness towards him.
