Description
DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — More than $1.8 million in grants have been awarded to various Delaware County organizations and agencies to support a variety of programs and services, including adult probation services, body-worn camera initiatives, domestic abuse programs, and more.
The Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency approved the funds recently.
Money will be allocated to Upper Darby, Marcus Hook, and Clifton Heights police departments; the Domestic Abuse Project of Delaware County; Delaware County Women Against Rape; the Family Support Line of Delaware County; and the county overall.

Clifton Heights Borough - Clifton Heights Borough Police Department - $15,000.Marcus Hook Borough - Marcus Hook Police Department Body-Worn Cameras Project - $18,527.Upper Darby Township - Upper Darby Police Department BWC Initiative- $75,000. Improvement of Adult Probation Services Funds
Delaware County - Improvement of Adult Probation Services - $671,039. Federal STOP Violence Against Women Formula Grant Funds
Delaware County Executive Director - Juvenile Court/Probation - $322,264.Delaware County Executive Director - Senior Victims/Court Financial Services -$272,951.Domestic Abuse Project of Delaware County - Services to Victims of Domestic Violence - $208,924.Delaware County Women Against Rape - $187,329. State Children's Advocacy Center Funds
Family Support Line of Delaware County - Delaware County Children's Advocacy Center- $47,000.
