Buckingham Friends School seeks a new Librarian, Integrated Studies Teacher, & Learning Commons Coordinator beginning in September 2022. This 10-month multi-faceted position works with students in Kindergarten-8th grade, includes responsibility for the School library, and could include participation in other areas of grades 6 - 8. The successful candidate will have the following qualifications: A passion for reading that inspires students to engage in reading for pleasure and learning Experience developing and maintaining an appropriate, engaging, and current library collection Proficiency in teaching relevant technology skills A background in curriculum development that reinforces literacy skills A demonstrated track record of contributing to their former school(s)’ culture A strong commitment to issues of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Justice, and Belonging (DEIJB)In-depth knowledge of current DEIJB literature A Bachelor’s degrees, preferably in Library Sciences or related field Experience preferred.
