LONDONDERRY, NH — Air Force II Tuesday, carrying Vice President Mike Pence, was leaving the Manchester-Boston Regional Airport, when was involved in a birdstrike. The aircraft, with apparent damage to an engine, immediately returned to the airport. On Wednesday, a special crew was flown in to examine the damage to the engine and make an assessment. The plane remains outside Signature Air on the tarmac awaiting repair.
