Press release from San Diego County Sheriff's Department: 03/12/2022 8:30 AM On Friday, March 11, 2022, at about 8:30 PM, the Sheriff's Communication Center received a call of a shooting outside an apartment complex on Postal Way, in the city of Vista. When deputies arrived, they found a man in the parking lot who had been shot several times.  Deputies immediately started life saving measures. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital where he underwent emergency surgery. No other victims were found. The investigation is currently ongoing and further information will be provided at a later date.
