My wife and I got Arlo about 10 months ago. He is fixed and up to date on all shots and meds. He is 1 yr old this month. Arlo weighs about 70 lbs. He is a loving and active, very active, dog. That is the problem. We are a retired couple, and I am disabled. Arlo is just too energetic for us. He is good with other dogs, and really loves our grandkids, just a bit to enthusiastic at times. He doesn't seem to care for cats, although he has only interacted with a couple of cats. The dog has been through the Humane Society basic manners class. I think a household with a companion dog or older children, with some room to run, would be ideal. We are not charging a rehoming fee, but will be particular on who we choose to adopt.
