If you are the person(persons) who adopted Chance from a Pittsburgh shelter on Sunday 2/27/22, please contact me. I had to surrender Chance to the shelter in the beginning of February due to circumstances beyond my control. I have been consumed by feelings of guilt and fear since then wondering if he is doing okay, is happy and is being taken care of. I found Chance as a stray in October 2018. He was in bad shape and required major surgery to remove the carpet remnants and strings that were obstructing his colon and intestines. He pulled through beautifully, turning into the happy little tank of a dog that you adopted. He loved playing in the yard with his siblings, sunbathing on the landing and playing fetch(he will play until he drops if you don't stop him). I don't mean to intrude on your life with him, I'm just asking you to please contact me and let me know how he's doing. And if for any reason it doesn't work out, please contact me. I will gladly take Chance back and reimburse you for the adoption fee. Thank you and bless you!
