BALDWIN PARK, CA — A boy died and six others were injured today in a crash involving at least a half-dozen vehicles on the San Bernardino (10) Freeway in Baldwin Park, according to the California Highway Patrol and media reports from the scene. The crash occurred about 1:40 p.m. on the eastbound 10 Freeway near the Francisquito Avenue off-ramp, said CHP Officer Stephan Brandt. Firefighters told CBS2 that at least six vehicles were involved in the crash. The boy's exact age was not immediately disclosed and the nature of the other injuries were not immediately released. The crash shut down five lanes and a SigAlert was issued at 2:22 p.m. All lanes were reopened at 5:49 p.m., the CHP reported. — City News Service
