STEM Non Profit Volunteer Ambassadors Needed

We are a 501c3 non profit dedicated to encouraging underserved kids between the ages of 8 and 18 to pursue careers in STEM related fields. The STEM Educational Fund works to educate and mentor boys and girls of color with information, knowledge and support they need to pursue a satisfying STEM career. We facilitate excursions for young people of color between the ages of 8 and 18 to museums, aquariums and botanical gardens with a focus on STEM fields of education. We need ambassadors in Detroit area: * Working with local non-profits to identify families for the museum excursions * Identifying Teachers to chaperone the excursions * Establishing relationships with local museums * Coordinating the museum excursions * Identifying Local Sponsors Must be outgoing, friendly, polite and professional. Willing to volunteer and dedicate time to support the goals of the non profit. www.STEMEdFund.org
