In case you are wondering, Flipper was a seminal 80s slowcore punk band from San Francisco. Kurt Cobain, they say, became famous by wearing one of their t-shirts. Anyways, I'm posting this because I'm interested in starting a band, maybe not sounding exactly like Flipper, but at least with people who are into them.* The idea is that we would do original songs that were evocative, provocative, noisy, loud, heartfelt and made a difference.
