WE ARE: - a Female Percussionist and a male Rhythm Acoustic Guitarist/Singer refreshing a folk-rock/folk/light-country-rock and bit-o'-blues project. - Seniors who grew up with most of the music that we cover and/or created. - It's an AVOCATION for us--PAYING FUN, but not a "full-time job" or career. WE PLAY And SING: - Cover (NOT tribute) music from famous artists in mentioned genres, including but certainly not limited to: Neil Young, Crosby Stills Nash (& CSNY), Eagles, Paul Simon (& Simon & Garfunkel), Tom Petty and many others. Most of that music is from the late 1960s through 1970s, with some music from the 1980s thru early 2000s thrown in for good measure. - Some original music in similar genres. WE CAN PROVIDE: - Two suitable rehearsal spaces & PA equipment near (not in) Munroe Falls. - Chord/lyric sheets (both capoed and transposed). - Afternoon and Evening Rehearsals on almost any day(s) you wish! - Tips and tricks for learning songs and understanding music concepts. - Booking, management and other band leadership skills. - Patience and understanding. YOU SHOULD PLEASE BE ANY OF THE FOLLOWING: - Lead and/or Fingerstyle Guitar, Bass, and/or Other Instrumental Player, and/or Singer(s). - Band-centered, not ego-centric: Somebody has to lead so things keep on track, but all participate in decisions. - Someone who truly LIKES (if not loves) the songs of many if not all of the artists on our list. - Passion and time to devote, with practices/rehearsals at least once a week until we're regularly gigging. - IF you also song write, we'll ALL consider your material for inclusion. - Patient. (Getting tight and forming bonds in music takes time!) - Booking and/or other clerical or management skills.
