Description

Re-homing Male Husky. (He is the one pictured with darker markings.) I have been fostering him for nearly a year, his owner is unable to take him back, or support him. I am a full time student, and single dad. I am unable to give him the attention he needs, as well as continue to financially support him. Additionally, I have a female who only tolerates him. She prefers to be the sole fluff-ball in the home. He is well mannered, and off-leash trained. (Rare for a husky, I've been working with him and had him trained within a month, he is trained to stay at your left.) I have over ten years of siberian husky experience, and he is overall a good guy. He is fantastic with children, other dogs, and even cats-he's lived with them previously. As with many huskies he will do best in a home that has someone there most of the time, or if he is crated. He is houstrained, however he has been known to throw a temper tantrum if left out of the crate. (He ripped my couch, and ripped the stuffing out of seats in my RV when left). Be home, take him with you, or crate him if you decide to make him part of your family. Otherwise, he is not destructive. He is nuetered, and micro-chipped. I am looking to directly place him into a responsible home, since many rescues are overflowing. There is a re-homing fee. He will be sent to his new home with a new bag of his food, PureBalance, as well as his favorite toy. (It's an affordable premium brand, grain free with taurine, prebiotics, and NO corn fillers, I highly recommend this brand as it is often less than corn gluten based foods that are very unhealthy.) The re-homing fee is to ensure a dedicated family placement, as well as to recoup some costs. Please message me for details. I prefer text or email at first for initial questions. This may be a great opportunity for someone to get a well mannered, already trained siberian. Many times people get them because they are attractive animals, then when they become older owners realize how difficult and stubborn this breed is and rehomes them. This is a chance to have a foot in the door, and not struggle for years to train. Please contact me with any questions, thank you.
