Mouse needs a new caretaker

This past November, I rescued a mouse from my stepmom's cat and nursed it back to health. Despite losing an eye and one of its front paws in its encounter with the cat, the mouse is as fit as a fiddle, completely mobile, and very active (at night, of course, mice being nocturnal creatures). After working remotely from Amherst for a year, I'm preparing to relocate back home to California at the end of March, and am putting this posting out in the hopes of finding another Samaritan in Amherst or nearby to take over caring for this very lovely, very sweet one-eyed, three-handed mouse. If you're the sort of gentle person interested in assuming responsibility for the welfare of a mouse who was given a second chance at life, and in the positive karma that could conceivably be generated by such kindness, please send me a note and tell me a little bit about yourself, and we can go from there.
