Hey, I'm Nick! As you read by the title, I want to start a RHCP cover band. I'm currently a senior in high school who has played guitar for about 12 years now. I know how to play MANY of their songs on guitar, and I listen/ learn from most of their live stuff. From what I've been told, I play/ solo with a John Frusciante guitar sound and feel but also with a tad bit of Josh, which is awesome in my opinion. Now I am not like John at all, but I think if I'm similar that's perfect. So, what I'm looking for: Maybe a drummer, I have one but you can never have enough extras! A bass player who is able to learn the "Flea style," and a lead singer. What can I bring to the table: I would play lead and backing vocals, dedication and management of where to get gigs. Also, I have equipment: Most importantly space to practice. I have speakers, mics, cables etc. All I ask from you is that you know the charts. The band practices are rehearsals and not practice, and most of all wanting to sound like a killer cover band! No, we're not dressing up or anything like that. I just want to be in a band that's like the Chili Peppers that sounds more than they do ACT like if you know what I mean. I wanna do this, let's talk!!
