GUITAR PLAYERS! We are seasoned musicians looking for a solid lead guitar player to lock up a new band. We are Singer/songwriter, Bass, Rhythm Guitar and Drums and we really need that confident guitar LEAD to make it all right. The music is kinda a big mix: Think Tito and Tarantula meets Big Head Todd and the Monsters with a bit of Joe Walsh, the Allman Brothers Band and finally, just a dash of various jam bands with a sprinkle of Led Zeppelin. We play "upbeat" music for the most part - party type and "get up and dance" originals - but can be technical and melancholy at times too. If you sing, great! If you write and have your own songs, great! If you have a style, great! If you like The Faces, great! If you smoke/drink, great! If you like to play for fun but with serious musicians that will be gigging, great! If you like recording in the studio, great! If you have a sense of humor, great! If you like Bob Mould, great! If you like dogs, great! If you like cats, great! If you like all kinds of people, great! If you like Monster Magnet, great! If you are easy going, great! If you are punctual and committed, great! If you like the Black Crowes, great! If you need help with your gear, great! If you can help us decide on a band name, great! If you play acoustic, great! If you like REM, great! If you HATE any on the items listed above - this band is not for you! Please send a link of your work samples, if possible! We rehearse 1 day a week (come hell or high water) and try to add another if we can all make the time. We also have a great rehearsal space in Bend.
