I am open to all types of music but in the past I've specialized in indie rock, dance & electronic, psych rock and indie pop. I'm a singer putting some feelers out for any musicians interested in working together on some Eva Cassidy and Cassidy-esque tunes. She had such a wonderful, eclectic mix of songs with beautiful arrangements. Like Eva, I'm most drawn to ballads, but can also dig the occasional up-tempo with a good groove. Love her too? I have been playing guitar over 50 years ( and still perform live), and have been teaching for 18 years. I have developed a method that gives students a solid foundation and understanding of the instrument. No matter your age, New Students, or wanting to get going again now that you have more time. I have gear and wheels, and I'm also vaxxed. A wonderful and experienced Jazz group available with an amazing singer, that will delight you and your guests and make your party memorable. We play all the joyful swinging songs, bossa nova perfect for weddings and celebrations! We are courteous and experienced, well-groomed and well-dressed professionals that arrive punctually to play great music. Rates are reasonable, and we can accommodate rooms of all sizes. We are saxophone, guitar, upright bass and drums. We are available as quintet with vocals, quartet, trio, duo and solo guitar. We play all the prestigious rooms in the area, the feather in our cap was our weekly brunch gig at the famed Rainbow Room at 30 Rockefeller Center for over 2 years.
