HAZARD: I-5 Debris Causes Multiple Flat Tires In Mission Viejo

MISSION VIEJO, CA — Drivers on the San Diego Freeway reported debris in northbound lanes causing flattened tires, midday Thursday. California Highway Patrol Officers reported at least two vehicles that were forced to pull to the side due to "something" slicing through car tires. What led to the debris in the road, or how long cleanup would to take, was not reported. Tow trucks were called to the scene to render aid to the disabled vehicles at 1:30 p.m., CHP said.
