Description
ORANGE COUNTY, CA — 2020 is shaping up to be a busy year in California, with the U.S. Census and presidential election both rapidly approaching. In an effort to sort out the confusion, Congressman Mike Levin and California Secretary of State Alex Padilla will host a town hall in Mission Viejo this week to discuss the two topics.
The town hall is set for Wednesday, Feb. 19 from 4:30-5:30 p.m. at Saddleback College. It will be held in the Ronald Reagan Board of Trustees Room, 28000 Marguerite Parkway.
Registered Orange County voters will automatically receive ballots for the March 3 presidential primary, under the Voter's Choice Act, passed in 2016. Voters can choose whether to return their ballots by mail, to a drop box in the county or to any vote center in the county.
As for the census, the Secretary of State's office created a fact sheet for 25 hard-to-reach California counties, including Orange County.
