Looking for a guitar for a friend

I have a friend who is not well. Sometimes he is so weak he cannot stand. He is/was a talented musician but no longer plays. I would like for him to have a guitar to play when he has some energy. I think it would lift his spirit and take his mind off of his situation for a time. I cannot afford to purchase one but perhaps someone has one that is no longer being used.
