Imja is about 6 years old-I will check specifics. She has been with my mom who is in her 80's and I think a cat is too much for her at this point. Imja is a bit over weight and has become a bit more fearful over the last year. She is very affectionate when she gets to know you but just won't be comfortable in my home with my sighthound and my black cat who is a bit aggressive. Ideally she would go to an only cat home, or a home where the other cat is cat friendly. She has a few limitations-she doesn't hear well and may or may not be deaf. She has a benign heart issue. I want to be sure that she goes to an excellent home. I know that is a tall order for a cat, but I don't need a re-homing fee if I can either do a home visit of have some other way to know all will be well. She is loved, she just doesn't fit in. Please email if you are sincerely interested.
Imja doesn't have many negative traits. She likes to climb in boxes, play with a cat fishing pole, and sleep with you. She loves to go outside but because of her hearing issues it is dangerous if she encounters other cats or predators. If you have an enclosed porch, or second floor porch, fabulous, she will sit for hours happily. She does have one quirk which is her litter. She must have Dr. Elsey's Cat Attract litter. If she has it, no problem. If she doesn't, she won't use the box.
