MISSION VIEJO, CA —Mission Viejo City Councilmembers Patricia Trish Kelley and Brian Goodell had strong showing in Tuesday's election for their bids to maintain their seats. From Mission Viejo City Hall to the White House, Tuesday's election will select local leaders, decide on tax measures, and proposals that will shape California for generations to come.
Now that everyone's cast their votes, the question is: So who won? What passed or failed?
In Mission Viejo's City Council race, two seats were open in Tuesday's election. As of Wednesday at 10 a.m., incumbents Patricia Trish Kelley and Brian Goodell were leading, with 29.72 percent and 28.54 percent of the vote, respectively. They were followed by candidates Pauline Hale, Cathy Schlicht, Jessica Gilbert, Ryan Tworek, Steve Sipe and Michael McConnell.
