Babies are 3" and ready for their forever homes. The adorable Axolotl (Ambystoma Mexicanum) is an engaging fully aquatic freahwater species that requires a self specie only environment. (They cannot be housed with snails or fish) They have the average life span of 12-15 years IF properly cared for. Adults can range from 8-12" at maturity. Axolotl require a CYCLED aquarium with temps between 60-65F. With no gravel or small rocks (barebottom or super fine sand are best once 6"+ in legnth) Tank size requirements: 1 Axolotl - 20 Gallons +10 gallons for each additional Axolotl. Our babies come from a super diverse documented genetic lineage (no brother/sister /cousin breeding) We Have Copper and Leucistic babies currently available who are 3" and on a mixed diet of Pellets and Live blackworms. We have put a lot of effort into raising these babies and want the best lifelong homes for them. Please be ready to answer questions about your aquarium and tank cycle.
