Friendly, senior cat to good home only

We are looking for a good home for an 18 year old cat, named Misty. I adopted her just over a year ago when I was single and living alone. I recently met, moved in with and married my partner who has 3 children. We have tried to make this work, but after giving birth to a new baby, we all feel that ours truly is not the best home for a senior cat. The best home for Misty would be a home with no children and someone who wants a sweet companion who won’t be around much longer. Other pets maybe okay (inquire for details). Misty is very sweet, friendly and affectionate to everyone she meets. She may take a short time to warm up, but soon will become your loving companion. She loves to snuggle on laps or follow you around the house. The rest of the time she naps. I’be only had her a short time, but believe she may have a hyperthyroid condition. She gets hungry often and is skinny. She also sneezes sometimes. Otherwise, she has no known health conditions. She had a vet check and shots up to date in August 2020. I can get the vet records upon request. We hope to find the right home for this sweet cat!
