Reptile and other exotic animal owners, friends and family, (This post is to provide information about the newest, reptile-focused, and locally-owned business in Bay City. With some insight on myself, Shiloh! (Owner). Finishing with a brief overview of some services like reptile rescue service, feeder service, delivery and others). I just wanted to post a hello, to those who may not have already found our business profile through google or page on Facebook! Also a thank you to all of those who have been repeat customers, the word of mouth speakers or even those who have helped bring in some of the exotic friends in need of rehoming! (Along with any donated used equipment!) A bit about me: My name is Shiloh Hoisington, I am the owner of this new blooming business, Magnificent Reptile! Some back ground on my experiences: I have owned many types of snakes. (Ball Pythons, Corns, King, Rosie’s and Milk snakes). Along with experience with Breadies, Leopard Geckos, (recently crested as well), and some knowledge with Chameleons. I have very limited experience with aquatic types of reptiles and their land counterparts, (Aquatic turtles and land tortoise), though have had a Red Slider before and currently housing a Russian Tortoise! Business experience or related education: I did go to college for my associates in Business Administration, have previously worked with a Vet, (though it was a very short time), I’ve been a supervisor for other businesses as well and have that to help with my growing experiences! My first and most important goal is to offer, what we all need as owners of reptile owner’s. And that is number one, Feeders. (Live or frozen rodents, live meal worms, crickets and more)! Along with not just offering these but also the equipment we need to house our friends as they continue their own physical growth! And proper equipment for their everyday needs like basking bulbs and dome light fixtures! Secondly, to offer these at a competitive price. (I will try my best to keep my prices as low as possible! The biggest thing to remember is that even if my prices match or even at times go over some other company’s prices. You are supporting local growth! Along with receiving, (Of which I do my best!) better quality. (In regards to feeders, I personally make sure to gut load my crickets and worms by offering nutritional foods to keep them healthy and provide the best for your reptiles!) I am thankful for this opportunity to provide for, at the very least while in start, the county of Tillamook, Oregon! It’s a slow process to the bigger plans I have for the future, one thing I can promise for this beginning interaction. I will absolutely do my best to provide for your requests! May it be by: personally delivering items to you, helping take in rescues that may only need temporary stays or even those who just can’t continue the journey with their owners and finding a new home (if not added to our reptile family here), helping in finding the right products(online, if not on hand.
