It was shortly after noon today (Saturday, March 12, 2022) as everyone flooded into the Union for lunch being served. You were working one of the booths in the main corridor/hall for the Grad School Preview sessions that were going on. I tried to see which one, but there were too many people blocking the sign. You had curly light-brown hair above the shoulder, and in high-waist jeans. I was the tall guy in a black coat, black jeans, long beard, and black rim glasses. We made eye contact several times and you removed your mask as we met eyes a few more times and smiled at each other. Due to the hustle and bustle of everything going on I decided I'd approach you to introduce myself after I ate. However, when I finished my meal I didn't see you again. I even waited in the Union hall and never saw you come back.
At first I thought I'd just let it pass. But now, I'm home and I'm mad at myself for not just approaching you to say hi when we first saw each other. So, I'm taking a stab in the dark and writing one of these. Will it work? I have no idea. I hope so.
