BERWYN, PA — Your own wooden flower boxes or holiday wreaths are waiting to be crafted at Berwyn's new do-it-yourself craft studio. Main Line DIY Studio opens Nov. 12 to offer classes for do-it-yourselfers who want to learn new skills and get creative. The independent, locally-owned craft studio will offer customers a hands-on tutorial and all materials for creating custom projects such as wood signs, wood trays, flower boxes, holiday wreaths, lawn games, doormats, ornaments, and more. The studio at 555 E. Lancaster Ave. in Berwyn is founded and owned by Teresa Dempsey. She and her creative team share their passion for art and woodworking through guided, in-person workshops, to-go craft kits, and mobile workshops for private parties at their home or office. "We are excited to provide a creative outlet and sense of community and connection during this challenging time," studio staff said. For those less interested in DIY, the Main Line DIY Studio has a shop where customers can purchase ready-made and made-to-order items. The studio will follow all safety precautions recommended by health officials to ensure a safe working environment for customers and staff. Learn more at Main Line DIY Studio, or email [email protected] with question or for more information.
