Learn about the challenges associated with being a first-generation woman, and get tips from a first-gen therapist on how to navigate them.
Dr. Rosette Elghossain is a first-generation Lebanese-American licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in trauma, shame, and first-gen issues. In her private practice, she has helped hundreds of women look at their stories through a more compassionate lens, heal from the burdens of trauma, and create a life of which they're proud.
This inaugural event for first-gen women in Oklahoma City will provide you with a space of validation, learning, and support from women like you -- women who get it. Dr. Rosette will facilitate a conversation about the pressure to achieve, conflicting loyalties and values, being misunderstood by family and friends, and how you can feel more at peace with it all.
