True Laurels 10th Anniversary (Magazine Release & Docuseries Screening) On Saturday March 19th, writer Lawrence Burney's Baltimore/DMV-focused media platform, "True Laurels" will host two events in honor of its 10th anniversary. These events will showcase a decade of the region's most captivating music and culture. From 12 pm to 4 pm at The Parkway Theater, True Laurels will host a release for its latest magazine issue. Previous issues and limited merch will also be available. The event will end with a preview screening of 'Along the Parkway,' a forthcoming docuseries about the Baltimore/DC region's rising rap artists. That night (from 10pm-2am), True Laurels will host an anniversary party at The Compound featuring sounds by Abdu ALi, DJ Domo, Styles Bond, and Amy Reid + special unannounced guests. Both events are free to the public, but registration must be completed separately via Event Brite.
