Volunteers Needed to Pack Grocery Boxes for Low Income Seniors

Are you ready to make a difference? The Salvation Army of Central Maryland needs your help to pack grocery boxes for vulnerable seniors. The Salvation Army of Central Maryland needs your help to help combat poverty, hunger, and frequent starvation of vulnerable seniors living in Baltimore City and Baltimore County. Many of our seniors are running on limited funds, homelessness, and lack of mobility (or even support) to get food. Our goal with our "Grab n Go' Grocery Food program is to feed over 2,800 seniors but we are unable to do so. We need volunteers to help pack nutritious vegetables, grains, meats, and fruits at our warehouse located on: 400 East 29th St, Baltimore MD 21218. Even helping us out for at least 1-2 hours will feed part of Baltimore. We need help starting January 15th through September 1, 2022 (excluding all major holidays)on the following days: WE DO NOT HAVE ANY VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES ON JANUARY22 AND ON JANUARY 29th! THE WAREHOUSE IS CLOSED THOSE DAYS Monday through Friday 9:30 am- 1pm Saturdays 9:00 am-12 pm Anyone interested in helping us must schedule a time with our Volunteer Coordinator, Samantha Bowman via email at: [email protected].
