EAST WHITELAND, PA — A lane on Swedesford Road in East Whiteland will be closed next week due to paving work, according to PennDOT. PennDOT said East Whiteland Township is planning a single lane closure on eastbound Swedesford Road for three days next week. The lane will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 20 to Friday, May 22. Work will take place between Liberty Boulevard and Valley Stream Parkway Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur.
