Adler Park Gets New Playground

LIBERTYVILLE, IL — A new playground has opened at Adler Park in Libertyville. The updated playground has a new pour-in-play rubber surface, a path that runs through the playground and a play area for two age groups: ages 2 to 5 years old and ages 5 to 12 years old. The playground area also has numerous slides, a saucer swing, zip line, several climbing features and ground-level music play options, according to a village of Libertyville Facebook post. Libertyville Unveils New Playground Design For Adler ParkThe design was picked after residents provided their feedback on their favorite playground design last fall. A $91,005 grant helped offset the costs associated with purchasing the new playground equipment.
